On behalf of the editorial panel, welcome to SHIFTing Focus – designed to support Australian and New Zealand health professionals to continue the conversation about important topics impacting the way we manage cystic fibrosis (CF), to share our challenges, successes and new opportunities, and work together as we drive the shift we need, from research to clinical practice.

This medical education initiative is supported by Vertex and comprises an online resource hub and e-newsletter series (distributed ~3 times per year).  It offers all members of Australian and New Zealand multidisciplinary CF care teams the opportunity to explore relevant and engaging content and resources in a personalised manner that fits with the time you have available, your interest areas and your learning preferences.

Content on SHIFTing Focus is presented in a short, engaging reader-friendly format, so you can take away key points at a glance. In-depth content options, including videos, webinars and online learning modules etc, are available if you wish to explore the topic in more detail. New content will be published on the SHIFTing Focus resource hub regularly.
